How can parents prevent alcohol use?
Clear communication by parents about the negative effects of alcohol, as well as their expectations regarding drug use, led to a significant decrease of alcohol use in teenagers. Adequate parental supervision has also been shown that a deterrent to the use of alcohol in the youth.Alcohol and other drug use, has been found that most often occur between the hours of 3 and 6 pm, immediately after school and before the parents came home from work.
It is also important to properly train the staff selling and serving the alcoholic drinks. Today there are a courses required to be taken by persons who are working in the hospitality industry. People who have finished these course get R.S.A. Certificate, which is now required in several Australian states.
